Auckland Zoo releases 3 new lesson plans with a new theme every Wednesday – one for ages 0-4, one for ages 5-11 and one for ages 12-17.

These easy to use resources incorporate cross-curricula support with activities relating to English, The Arts, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences and Technology, as well as relating back to key competencies.

This lesson plan teaches students about the rainforests that are home to orangutans, tigers, otters, siamang and other animals.
